[SOCHUM] Poland submitted proposal to the UN to deal with corruption in humantarian aid

Poland has submitted a draft resolution to the Third Committee of the UNGA to tackle the problem of corruption in dealing with humantarian aid. This proposal is supported by Uganda, Haiti, South Korea, Central African Republic and Guinea.

The initative calls for the establishment of anti-corruption agency in countries that is plagued by widespread corruption. It also urge countries to revise their anti-corruption law and to improve transparency in humanitarian works. Most notably, it calls for the establishment of a new UN emergency agency to "providing aid in time for people in destitution and desperation
